Maturing.

I forgot I still have this tumblr(cause it’s on a different e-mail from my main). I had a good run with this tumblr (April-November 2009). I can’t believe I still have a few followers(I lost like 100 though which to me was a lot for back in the day) so if you’re one of the few that still follow me on this, hi. haha Damn looking back at some of the posts on this tumblr, I can’t believe how much I’ve matured in just the past year. It’s full of crappy re-blogs and HELLA FML blogs with hella cussing. I cussed more on this tumblr compared to my current one, and this one only has 84 posts compared to my 800ish posts on my other one. All I’d talk about are the negative things in my life, and there were blogs that just talked about getting effed up drinking and getting high all the time. I call people out people for always dropping F bombs and FML posts right now, but I did the exact same thing before and never realized it. In just one year, I went from doing no school work at all, cussing all the time, getting effed up all the time, writing FML blogs and re-blogs to actually doing my work/studying, cutting down my cussing by over 95%, writing positive about the negative things in my life, and not getting effed up everyday. It’s like i took a 180 in my life.

Well anyways, I’m currently studying for my finals right now. I have to write 3 essays tomorrow, but they gave 6 essay prompts so I have to study for all 6 since they’re choosing the 3 out of the 6. I got 3 down pretty good, 1 i kinda got, and 2 I still need to study. Praying that the three they choose are the ones I got down, but i’ll try and get the other ones down too tonight. I also have a math final, but I slacked on this section so I’ma fail so hard. I’m trying to LEARN the stuff on the final, not review it. Part of it was being sick the whole week last week, but most of it was me being lazy. My grade in that class went from a 97% to an 89% in just one week, so I need to do well on this final. It’s not looking good right now. I got no more than 10 hours of sleep this whole week, and I’m not sleeping tonight. That doesn’t help the fact that I’m still recovering from last week, and I still have a cough. I just need to grind it out because 12 hours from now, I’ll be free on winter break.

Oh yeah and I found a new blogging platform to blog on. It’s not really new, but its newer than tumblr. Its called posterous, and I’m most likely gonna start blogging there from now on. I don’t think have a dashboard where you can see people’s posts, but I’m not sure. You have the ability to subscribe to blogs to maybe you will have a place that acts like a tumblr dashboard too. Also, uploading music and stuff is way easier on that site, and so is editing your page. I spend way too much time on tumblr looking at peoples posts, so this gives me a way to blog without spending hours on that site. Maybe I’ll post my link to it on here later. Thats it for now. just one of those days where everything is ‘perfect’

so if you dont wanna read all that basically today..

• electric guitar & accessories as my early bday present from my dad
• leaders meeting for yfc
• pacquiao fight vs cotto, pacquiao wins.

so i wake up and everything then around half an hour later a package arrives. its from my dad(who lives in the philippines). i open it and what do i see, my early birthday present. an electric guitar with all the accessories and everything.

like i didnt even know he knows i play guitar. haha i’ll say thank you to him when he has his yearly call to me on november 17(the day before my birthday because in the philippines its already my birthday). then my uncle comes over. we move out all the stuff in my room and clean it out and everything. we start painting my room then i had a tough decision. go to leaders meeting at yfc or stay with him and do work. he told me to go to the meeting and we’ll finish up later.

so i went to the leaders meeting at yfc, 1-4ish. pretty tight, i feel ‘rejuvinated’. haha learned quite a bit from it too. after when i came home, my uncle already finished painting my room, and set up/built all my new furniture from ikea. im hella thankful and grateful for him. computer for a bit then i left to my cousins house to watch the pacquiao fight.

it was hella crazy. hella fun too. before the fight, everyone was all ‘cotto’s gonna win’. first round during and after it they say pacquiao is done cotto’s gonna win. second round theyre all yelling and laughing saying mannys gonna win after he hella comes back. fourth round they switch again to cotto HAHA! then manny knockdowns cotto and they went back to manny. HAHA long story short, manny knockdowned cotto twice(4th and 6th round), left him hella bloody and cut up, and the ref ended the match during 12th round. LOL when cotto lowblows manny and the announcer goes ‘the filipinos are booing’. idk it was hella funny at the time. haha and when i got home and got on twitter, every moment that was hella intense or what not was twittered by a number of my friends. mostly filipinos. haha go filipino pride.

now while everyones off partying, ima party it up the best way you can, by sleeping. :D goodnight!
